LUTON CLAIM FRIENDLY VICTORY AT DUNSTABLE... Luton Town earned a 3-0 victory at neighbours Dunstable Town in a friendly arranged to give some of the Hatters fringe players some match fitness. New signing Carlos Edwards made his Luton Town debut following his summer switch from League Two side Wrexham and Slovenian Dino Seremet played in goal after sitting on the bench for the opening two Championship fixtures which have seen Dean Brill help the Hatters to wins over Crystal Palace and Southampton. In addition, manager Mike Newell also handed starting places to two trialists – central defender Milne and another run out for former Newcastle United, Norwich City, Blackpool and Modena striker Paul Dalglish. He partnered Rowan Vine, who was withdrawn from the action looking rather frustrated just before half-time, in attack. "All of the Hatters goals came in the second-half" All of the Hatters goals came in the second-half through Dalglish, a superb free-kick from young winger Danny Stevens and a third from young substitute Stuart Richardson. "Russell Perrett limped out of the action injured" Unfortunately, Luton central defender Russell Perrett limped out of the action injured just before half-time and the Hatters face an anxious wait to see if he’ll be fit for the first-team’s clash with Leeds United on Saturday. Ex-Hatters defender Alan Neilson was among the faces in the crowd, the defender, released in the summer, supporting his old team mates. Neilson has yet to find a new club after undergoing a stomach operation and he hopes to train with the Hatters when he recovers.
